I have been paying my GMAC mortgage through direct debit from my bank account. In the first place their online interface gave me a grace period of 15 days to pay off the loan, and would not accept the due date as a designated payment date. I went ahead and set up my payment system so that the money is credit to GMAC 5 days after the due date.

After 8 months of paying my bills promptly, I receive a letter stating that my line of credit has been cancelled because I was not paying on time !!! I spoke a customer service person and he would not help me. I was put on to his supervisor Ricardo...who bluntly says it was a decision by GMAC and there is nothing much he can do and my line of credit is cancelled.

The irony is I have excellent credit above 700 and I have no need for the line of credit at this point in my life. But I find it unethical that GMAC will cancel my line of credit without giving me a warning and not acknowledging the fact that I am having trouble with their online system. 128816d

How do I file a complaint to for making mistakes and it cost me on my credit rating. They Put my payments for 3 months into principal only and then I get a foreclosure letter telling me I never Paid my mortgage. Which I did on time they told me that for three months my payments went into Principal only, they never corrected the late charge and they only corrected 1 month with the credit bureau. What do I do and who should I contact about GMAC My credit has been cancelled all over the place becasue of them. who and what must I do to get this corrected.
