I paid the last lease payment to the dealer when purchasing the car off of lease. A few months later I received a statement saying I owed them $139.00.
They actually owe me $62.91 since I paid the full lease payment of 201.91 to the dealer. Even after I sent them the proof of payment they turned me over to collections. I have proven to no less than 3 collection agencies now that the debt was paid in full and each one said the issue would be resolved.
I just received another Collection agency notification today and when I call GMAC financing they immediately forwarded me to the collection agency. Here we go again...meanwhile my credit report is taking the hit for their incompetence. 1287c58
