I admit to defaulting on my loan; I contacted the company handling my account and was told if I accepted their pay off right at that time the loan would be wiped cleaned. I did not have the money at that time, but asked to call within the next 14 days with my account numbers and pay the amount asked. The clerk was so rude and refused to accept this offer, she said if I called on the 30th of July the payment would not be posted for that day, therefore, the offer would not be in effect. THis is crazy, why couldn't I pay by the end of the month which was requested and have the payment posted the same day? 128715f
